Buffalo Grove Homes: Housing Market Report for October 2010

Buffalo Grove Real Estate continues to remain strong for October of 2010. Single family Buffalo Grove Homes sales are up 12.3%, 201 homes have sold year to date. Buffalo Grove Townhomes and Condos sales are up 7.8%, 179 homes have sold so far this year. This is great news for sellers as the market continues to move forward. Median sales prices for single family home are up 5.8% while attached homes are down 10.1%. Currently there are 186 detached homes on the market and 262 attached available for sale. There are 92 Buffalo Grove Foreclosures and Short Sales as well. We continue to see steady market in the highly desired area of Buffalo Grove. Stevenson High School, local amenities and great homes bring people to this wonderful town.

Buffalo Grove Home Sales Market Report for August of 2010

The Buffalo Grove Real Estate Market is holding strong through August of 2010. From this time last year home sales are up 28.6% from 133 homes sold to 171 for Buffalo Grove Single Family Homes. Homes sales are up 26.1% from 115 homes sold to 145 for Buffalo Grove Townhomes and Condos. This is good news for sellers and buyers. With a medium sales price increase of 11.2% on detached homes sellers are getting more for their homes in 2010 than in 2009. Buyers can still take advantage of lower home sales prices, as they are still down from 5 years ago. Attached homes are down 11.1% for median sales prices. Townhomes and condos in the area are taking the biggest hit because these units have the highest amount of short sales and foreclosures.

Buffalo Grove Real Estate: Housing Market Report for July 2010

What a pleasure it is to share that the Year to Date Sales of Buffalo Grove Homes and Buffalo Grove Townhouses are on the rise in 2010. The Realtor Association of Northwest Chicagoland is showing for July of 2010 a 38.8% increase in Buffalo Grove Single Family Homes Sales and a 44.3% increase in Townhome and Condos Sales. The median sales price has increased 15.4% on single family homes and is down 11.1% on attached home sales. The Buffalo Grove Real Estate Market is growing stronger even without the first time home buyers tax credit. Low interest rates and reasonable prices of homes are keeping buyers active in the market. Although market time for home sales may not be what it was 5 years ago, sellers with patience and a good realtor can get their home sold for fair market value.
