Trick or treat in safety in Long Grove IL this week. The annual “Spooktacular” takes place from 10 am to 7 pm in the Village of Long Grove, ensuring that children of all ages can dress in costume, trick or treat in a safe environment and enjoy Halloween and all of that candy that goes along with it.
The Long Grove community is family friendly and Halloween offers a good look at just how friendly our village is. Young children, including toddlers and pre-schoolers, can start early in the day and school-aged children can get in the fun as soon as school lets out. The merchants throughout the Village of Long Grove will open their doors to trick or treaters and will be in the full Halloween spirit. After the trick or treating the Village Tavern is the place to be with a costume contest starting at 7 pm. There will be 3 divisions in the contest: 3-6, 7-12, and 13 and over.
