You can start your weekend off by walking hand in hand with your sweetheart taking in all the great items each shop has to offer. The horse drawn carriage rides will run on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm for $15 a couple. When visiting any of the fine restaurants in historic Long Grove on February 11th and 12th they will be treating their patrons to a complimentary glass of champagne with the purchase of specials entrees.

Another one of my favorite things are red velvet cupcakes and this year the the folks at Sweet Whimsy have put together a sweetheart cupcake box with a red velvet cupcake and a chocolate cupcake with ganache for only $6! Anything Sweet Whimsy is sure to melt her heart.
