Buffalo Grove High School

Buffalo Grove High School was built in 1973 and in the 1999-2000 school year received the Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence by the United States Department of Education, the highest reward you can receive. The school excels in sports winning numerous awards throughout the years as you can see below.

Stevenson High School

Stevenson High School opened in 1965 and during the 1986-87, 1990-91, 1997-98 and 2001-02 school years, Stevenson High School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education, the highest award an American school can receive. Out of 1500 schools in the United States, based on advanced placement exams, Stevenson is ranked # 151 in the nation. The school had been previously ranked #69 in 2003, #86 in 2005, #121 in 2006, #170 in 2007, and #154 in 2008. Not only is this great school known for its education, but Stevenson also holds records for many state and national awards in sports.

Combined both of the schools have been open 82 years, both Buffalo Grove High School and Stevenson High School have accomplishments that draw buyers to this area so that their children can become a part in this excellence in education.
